Photo Vault is a Windows program that takes custody of the photos you cannot afford to lose. Keep feeding it folders - phones, SD cards, old drives, backups of backups - and it files everything into dated folders on the drive you choose, refuses duplicates against every photo you have ever imported, and shows the whole library in a fast grid built for hundreds of thousands of photos.
It is built to be safe before it is built to be clever. Importing always copies; your originals are never modified, moved, or converted. RAW files are not even copied - they are linked where they already live and opened read-only. Every copy is hashed on the way in and re-read and re-hashed on the way out, so a photo only joins the library if the two fingerprints match exactly. Silent corruption cannot get in.

What it does
Your originals are never touchedImport copies, never moves or rewrites. RAW files stay where they are and open read-only, forever.
Duplicates cannot sneak inA permanent index of every photo ever imported catches exact matches instantly - and near-duplicates are held for your review, not silently dropped.
Every copy is verifiedFiles are hashed while copying, then re-read and re-hashed. Bit-identical or it does not enter the library.
Deletes are recoverableEverything goes to the Recycle Bin - never a hard delete - and health checks report stray files instead of eating them.
Built for a real libraryA Google-Photos-style grid that stays fast from a few thousand photos into the millions.
A catalog that backs itself upOne-click consistent backups and a built-in verify pass, so the index is as recoverable as the photos.
